Distillate Aromatic Extract (DAE) with high polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are widely used as aromatic process oil / extender oil in the production of natural & synthetic rubber items. The legislation in Europe (EU Directive 2005/43/EC Article 3 (2) starting 01.01.2010) classifies these extract as carcinogenic (i.e. labeled ). PCA content of these aromatic oils are in the range of 20 to 30 % as per IP 346.
